Outdoor Tree Gnome

Decorating the trees in your front yard for Christmas can be easy and fun! No ladder required — just tie a festive sash near the base of the tree. For a snowy white beard, use some creative craftsmanship and cut white plastic tablecloths into strips and loop them into chicken wire. To make a nose, simply use a bowl and spray paint it to give it a skin-tone hue. And, of course, no beard is complete without a top — use Tulle and a big red ribbon for a festive topping!

Artificial Christmas Tree Gnome

Turn a medium sized artificial Christmas tree into a large one by turning it into a gnome. You can purchase a pre-lit one to make it easier. This is then set on a round table to add the height. Purchase white felt material and cut into strips, leaving an inch around the top so you can wrap it around the tree. Then use one solid piece of felt to cover most of the bottom. To make the nose, pick up a round foam piece and cover it with skin-tone material. Finish it off by adding red mesh around the tree and at the top — and don’t forget to give your decoration a festive hat. Cutting the felt may be the most time-consuming part, but the end result will be well worth the effort!
